Welcome to My Kitchen

What is Reveena’s Kitchen?

Reveena’s Kitchen is a YouTube cooking show dedicated to showing you how to prepare delicious, creative, and fresh homemade meals for you and your loved ones to enjoy. All the items on Reveena’s Kitchen’s menu are vegetarian, and many are vegan, or gluten and dairy free. Each recipe has been tested to perfection in order to produce the most tantalizing dish. Whether you’re vegetarian, vegan, or simply an omnivore looking for alternative recipes, Reveena’s Kitchen has you covered.

If you’re looking for a unique vegetarian catering experience in the Greater Montreal Area, I’d love to work with you. We’ll set up a meeting to discuss your event and come up with a menu based on personal preference and/or dietary restrictions. After you buy the necessary ingredients, I will come over, make the meal, and clean up well before the guests arrive, leaving your house ready for the feast. You can contact me by e-mail at info@reveenaskitchen.com

Private Lessons

If you live in the Greater Montreal Area and are interested in private cooking or baking lessons, please contact me. I like to establish what we’ll make before the lesson to give you time to buy the ingredients and to give me time to perfect the recipe. I will then teach you how to make decadent desserts and delicious meals, and I will take care of the cleanup. You can also buy lessons for a friend or family member. You can contact me by e-mail at info@reveenaskitchen.com

Who is behind Reveena’sKitchen?

While studying communications in Cegep, a pre-university system unique to Quebec, I realized I could combine my deep love for food with modern media technologies. After graduating in 2013, I traveled to England where I spent a month creating handmade artisanal chocolates, caramels, and ganaches. The subsequent five months found me eating my way through Europe. When I returned home and began working full time as a crepe maker, I decided to share my love of food with the world. On February 13th, 2014, I released the first episode of Reveena’s Kitchen. While Reveena’s Kitchen has been my dream for years, I’m not the only one responsible for making it a reality. My parents have been endlessly supportive of my cooking endeavours and I wouldn’t have been able to get this far without them. I also have a great team working with me.

Ruth Stewart-Patterson was Reveena’s Kitchen’s photographer and videographer for episodes 1 through 90. She has an incredible eye for photography and cinematography, and combines these skills with dedication, punctuality, and professionalism. Always willing to lend a hand, Ruth is not only helpful but exceptionally fun to work with. If you hear laughter mid-episode, it’s most likely due to something Ruth is doing off-camera. If you’re looking for a committed and enthusiastic photographer or videographer, contact Ruth through her Facebook page.

John Alexander Espinosa is the newest addition to Reveena’s Kitchen, joining as of episode 91. He is a photographer and videographer who brings an abundance of positivity, determination, and perseverance to the project. He graduated with honours from Dawson College in the arts and culture program, and returned to graduate from the professional photography program.  Alongside this education, he also brings a charismatic personality to Reveena’s Kitchen.

Alex Custodio is Reveena’s Kitchen’s web content manager and graphic designer. Her passion for the English language and for digital art (as well as her stubborn insistence that Reveena needed a website) landed her the job of making this website work both visually and grammatically.  If you’re looking for someone to design flyers or business cards, establish layouts for books or photo albums, or proofread projects in the English language, you can contact her at alexcg@live.ca

If you find that the website isn’t loading or if you find a typo, contact Alex at the above address and she’ll fix that right up.

How you can be part of the culinary experience and journey?

I love reading your comments on the YouTube videos and I look forward to reading them here! All the suggestions you leave are taken into consideration as I plan my upcoming videos and my technological and aesthetic investments. If there is a dish you would like to learn to prepare, a culinary technique you’d like to perfect, or an ingredient you’d like to discover, I’d love to hear from you. I will then develop my own recipe to feature in an episode of Reveena’s Kitchen. If you don’t want to comment publicly on YouTube or on the website, send me an e-mail at info@reveenaskitchen.com

  3. Congratulations Reveena on your fabulous website and videos. And thanks Mom as well for letting me know about it all.. So far, I’ve only made the delicious pumpkin muffins but this weekend I’m taking on those amazing sounding spring rolls. Keep up the great work.

  4. Hello Reveena; I tried your buckwheat crapes and the phyllo parcels and loved both. Thank you. For the coconut rice, can the jasmine rice be replaced with any other rice (e.g. basmati)?

    1. Hi Ella! Thank-you so so much, I’m so happy to hear that you liked my other recipes. You can absolutely replace the jasmine rice with basmati. Just keep in mind that if you choose to use brown rice it will take longer to cook. Enjoy 🙂

  5. I have noticed that your blog needs some fresh
articles. Writing manually takes a lot of time, but
there is tool for this time consuming task, search for: Wrastain’s tools for content
